Dear Colleagues,

This year’s theme, “Enhancing Academic Excellence through Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation,” highlights the growing importance of integrating disciplines to address complex challenges and achieve sustainable development. Interdisciplinary research fosters innovation, improves publication quality, and strengthens global rankings—though it requires robust institutional frameworks and collaborative policies.

Innovation is the driving force that transforms ideas into practical solutions, patents, and knowledge products that support national development. Investing in innovation and structured research programs is essential for building a more impactful and competitive university.
Today, we also celebrate our researchers—the true wealth of Kuwait University—by honoring winners of the Outstanding Scientific Poster Award, reflecting the high caliber of research at our institution.
